*All teams must complete the form **and** be in Discord to be placed in a pool.*

▌ EVENT FORMAT

1. POOL PLAY
• Teams are divided into pools after sign-ups close.
• Exact pool size & number of games depend on total entries.
• Every pool runs a **round-robin** (each team plays everyone in its pool).
• Standings are based on win-loss record → tiebreakers = H2H / point diff.

2. PLAYOFFS (*start immediately after pool play*)
• Number of qualifying teams per pool scales with pool size.
• **Early Rounds:** Best-of-3 series
• **Semifinals & Grand Final:** Best-of-5 series
• Higher seed hosts Game 1 (and 3 / 5 if needed).

(Prizes paid to the registered Captain’s MGL Wallet within 30 days.)

▌ KEY RULES (READ CAREFULLY)

✓ All players must have an active **MGL account** and be listed on your roster.
✓ **Gamertags / PSNs** must match the submitted roster at match time.
✓ **Free-Throw Timing:** User Timing only – Real % / “N/A” is banned.
✓ At least **one player per team must stream** every match (no overlays/alerts).
✓ Games must launch **within 15 minutes** of the scheduled time or late penalties apply.

▌ IMPORTANT DATES

• REGISTRATION CLOSES ………. 48 hours before pools are announced
• POOL DRAW & SCHEDULE DROP … 24 hours before first tip-off
• MATCH DAYS ………………. Evenings (7:30 PM – 12:30 AM ET window)

▌ HOW TO LOCK IN

1. Submit the online form with your **five starting players**.
2. Pay for any bench spots you want (optional, $10 each).
3. Join the MGL Discord → verify in **#chat-with-staff**.
4. Watch for the pool draw and be ready to hoop!
